Am 26. und 27. April 2010 fand auf dem Messegelände der Nürnberg Messe, parallel zur POWTECH der erste internationale INDEX SAFETY CONGRESS statt.

Erstmalig organisierte IND EX e. V., eine Internationale Vereinigung von Sicherheitsexperten für den Explosionsschutz einen praxisorientierten Kongress mit namhaften Referenten aus aller Welt. Der hochkarätige Referentenpool, das „Who is Who“ der Explosionsschutzbranche, wirkte wie ein Magnet. Besuchern aus über 15 Ländern und 3 Kontinenten nahmen an dem Kongress teil.

"Vorträge zu aktuellen Änderungen und kommenden Neuigkeiten bei Regelwerken und Standards, Experimentalvorträge zu Zündquellen und Staubexplosionen, Video Sessions und brandneue Entwicklungen bei Schutzsystemen und Services fesselten die Zuhörer. Keine Fragen blieben offen" bestätigt Ute Weber, die die Kongressorganisation fest im Griff hatte.

On 26th and 27th April 2010 the 1st International INDEX SAFETY CONGRESS was held at the exhibition centre of “Nürnberg Messe” running concurrently with the POWTECH exhibition.

For the first time IND EX e. V., an International Association of Experts for Industrial Explosion Protection, organised a practice orientated congress with renowned speakers from all over the world. The top-flight speakers pool, the „Who is Who“ of the Explosion Protection field, appeared to be a magnet. Visitors out of more than 15 countries and 3 continents joined the congress.
